What are 0 and 1 in the computer?

What are 0 and 1 in the computer actually??

We often hear rumors like computers only understand the digits 0 and 1. It's true but in reality, there is no physical significance of 0 and 1.
We indeed use them to store different types of instructions, information, data, and so on. Any information in the world can be encoded as a sequence of 0 and 1. Actually, they are two binary digits the computers all know.
We know that a computer is an electronic device made up of electronic circuits, and those circuits can either pass electricity or can't, apart from that they can't do anything. So here, the passing of electricity is 1 and not passing is 0.
In different types of Hardware, the states of 0 and 1 are different. Like, in a hard disk the states change by altering magnetic poles, it doesn't need any type of electricity to work. In this way, in computers, various drivers, and RAMs the states are different. I shall discuss that later.
But till then, only remember that 0 and 1 are not physical things. They are different types of states only...
That's all about 0 and 1.

Thank you
